Trauma can be caused by a bodily wound, an injury or an emotional shock that has a profound or lasting effect on an individual. Trauma can be from the unexpected death of a loved one, an injury, an auto accident or something that we might disregard as insignificant until it affects our daily life.

Many times we attempt to deal with the unexpected or accidental death of a friend or loved one in a positive and healthy manner. Later to discover, we never grieved for that person, we just kept busy taking care of the daily tasks to help restructure our lives.
